Rust/Floors/Insulation
Hello!
I'm Sierra, my bus is named Hayduke. It is a 1997 Ford Superduty E-450 Shuttle bus.
I am currently in the middle of demolition.
Unfortunately this bus has some very leaky doors and there is a lot of rust mostly existing on the passenger side of the vehicle. Today I started ripping up the worst of the plywood in the back and found that there is no steel flooring beneath only the framing to hold the floors in place.
Should I put a plate down before putting new plywood down?
or put new plywood down after taking care of all the rust?
Currently still have lots of projects as this demolition keeps getting more and more complicated as new problems arise haha. I am not in any hurry to rip the floor out just yet. Any words of advice are accepted, thanks friends!
