Right now is the time to buy one, the auction sites are flooded with good deals right now. Quantity and quality fall off in the fall.

You know I fully believe that because a little while back the price was definitely higher but it is certainly more reasonable now. We are trying to estimate what length we would need for a family of 5, i.e. teen girls. So thinking quad bunks. This will not be a home to live in but more a of camping thing. Not sure boondocking will be in the future either.

What facilities will you want in the bus? kitchen? Bathroom / shower? Master bed or all bunks?

We arenít looking to live in it but definitely looking to make it more like an RV. So we donít really care if itís got a bathroom but a good portion of the kitchen stuff. We will probably build in phases and add stuff in different phases, but I will start with the end in mind. Probably will do shoreline electric and generator back up as a possibility.
