Skoolie Newbies

Hi everyone!
We are a family of four from Northern California. We just purchased a 1984 Thomas International we found for sale on our local Craig's list. Our skoolie had already gone through the conversion process, complete with full kitchen, toilet/shower, flooring, and electrical. It has around 148k miles on a Detroit Diesel D466 7.6L. We plan on doing a complete renovation to personalize, and to gain a better understanding of 'ins and outs' of our skoolie. Top to bottom.
The previous owners, also a family of four, lived in the skoolie for about a year as they traveled across the country as a mobile ministry. I believe they picked it up in Florida from the original builder?
We are super excited to have this opportunity! We are also looking forward to the wealth of knowledge and experience, we have been told, resides here on this forum. Thanks for taking a look at our post.

The Kanthacks

P.S. Not sure how to add photos here from my phone, but if you'd like to see pictures the original add is still listed on Mendocino Craig's list, Ca. Keyword, skoolie.

Building that would take a ton of time, and way more money than they are asking.
