Skoolie want to be in Denver
Hi all,
I've looked for someone to hire for a skoolie in the Denver area, but thus far have been unsuccessful. We would like to set sail next summer and have been told do so would mean starting this fall at the latest on the conversion. Does anyone have any contacts they can provide in the Denver area?
Much appreciated!
Mike

Whats the work your looking to have done? Full conversion? Do you have an indoor space to park it?

Looking for a full conversion. I currently live with a HOA so there is no way to park it out front. I will need someone to be able to house and work on it. My budget is between 35-40k for everything.
Any suggestions or information would be great!

i'll build you one for that. not in Denver though.... i'm out in northeast rural Colorado. 150 miles from Denver.
there are 2 guys in Denver that i know about.
Charles the bus guy in north denver and a father/son duo in south Denver.
both have websites - links have been posted to them before but i dont have em. the father/son guys's website is pretty hard to beat prices last time i saw.
good luck

I emailed Charlie and I tried searching the threads for the contact information for the father/son team but haven't been able to find it.
I know there have to be more folks that could do a conversion, I just need to find them.

ahem
however
does anyone else remember that father son team selling buses from littleton maybe?
they had a nice website, reasonable prices on 4 or 5 bus they had, and they had a price list for seat removal, adding waste tanks, trailer hitches....
i've searched and not finding them any more

the thread in my signature is the build of my only bus. i labored years and sweated thousands of decisions. Bus #2 will be so much easier and quicker. no reinventing the wheel, ya know.
i've got the land, shop, space and time. if you got cash to pay as you go, i'm good.

The denver conversion places charge an arm and a leg.
Let turf do it, he knows how to build stuff!
Charles in Denver wants ten grand for a roof raise!
Then there's the Charles that WAS in denver but he was all fake it turns out.

Turf, I tried to private message you but I am a newbie so no dice. My email address is my screen name and throw in a google.
Shoot me an email when you have time and I can tell you about my family and what we are looking for.
Thanks - Mike
