Stepping into a life journey with excitement and hope

Hi All,

Since a child I have been fascinated by the idea of a vehicle that is home and self-contained; all that i have and need is in the vehicle! From an old Land Rover or a VW bus to Skoolie, I have wanted to have some vehicle as a partner in intentional living.

The idea of having all I need, desire and want within a mobile vehicle is a great way to simply, reduce and focus on the good in life.

After many VW buses and Defenders over the years, I am now a very thrilled owner of a 1995 Thomas school bus, Further. It comes to me converted by an incredible family with passion and talent in this type of life.

Please see my registry entry "Further" for photos, and to see my progress in making changes and additions to this wonderful vehicle,

I hope to upgrade to fully self sustainable energy use, solar, mechanical power generation, recycle and reuse grey water, an other ideas.

Welcome to the madness. I saw your pics and one thing scared the chit out of me. I envision a frontal impact and see 9 knives flying into my back. No way would knives be stored in my bus that way.

You are so very right! The photos are in "camp" mode. While driving the knives are in a drawer. Thank you for your comment I appreciate your insight! jms
