Stollen Radiator Difficulty Finding Replacement

Hello All: Craig from NJ Times are getting bad, people will steal anything if your not around 24/7 to keep an eye on your property. Having trouble locating a Radiator for my 1981 Bluebird International with a V345E International Motor!!? One Big Radiator Distributor sold me a Radiator which looked great in the box. Measured it at the warehouse (IN THE BOX) Got it home and pulled out of box. Bottom hose location on wrong side. Had NO Radiator Cap just 2 3/4inch Threaded holes on top?? Dealer gave me back the cash I paid the day before. Said they could not find a Radiator for my bus and offered 2 places I could call. Been a year trying to locate a New Radiator!? Tired of staying in one place so long.

Is that a S1700 chassis? If so heat to the truck wrecking yards. Necks can be moved.

Find one that fits in the space of your bus and find an old school radiator shop and have the necks moved like s2mikon suggested!

No need to find the exact part, time for an upgrade!

Thank You Guys for the advice. A guy from Craig's Radiator here in NJ suggested I stop by his shop tomorrow and he's going to see if he can help me out somehow.

if you want a new one.....

there is a company that makes them called "autojet"

i got some muffler stuff from them and they were cheap, fast and friendly.

give them a try.

For 345 and 392 engines.

493379C2 for manual
493383C1 for automatic

Those numbers are likely discontinued, but you should be able to find something available that's superceded them.

If looking for Bluebird dealer, i suggest Girardin also called GTec I'm not sure if there is one in your area but I'm sure with VIN# they can give you Rad number required and possibly have one. I with for a giant school bus company and Rads i purchase never come with caps or any extras, especially Bluebirds they are the most over priced parts of all 3 makes we run with limited vendors available.
