The great Fabbinwagon adventure

Hello all.

My name is Vince and I'm a new member to the skoolie gang. I'm a metal fabricator by trade and specialize in race cars so this is definitely going to be an adventure. Located in Austin Texas.

I recently quit a full time job due to stress and it taking over my life. Right now I do random fabrication projects and actually make more and am happier as well. My reason for making a skoolie was to have a mobile fab shop/ living space. No more hours of commuting and I can long term store the bus for cheap when I leave the country for work.

No commute
No rent
No awful roommates
Total flexibly
Total creatively

Anyway, I'm a couple weeks into my build but ill start a thread. The bus is a 40 foot 1995 international carpenter with a t444e.

Can't expect to grow as a person without pushing your limits.

You're absolutely right. This is a growth experience in "patience" I believe.

Welcome, and you'll find this crowd behind you for living in a bus.

I'm hoping to get mine going relatively quickly so hopefully not too much patience. Ha

I've lived at shops before and loved it so this won't be too much different. The shop it's parked at has a full bathroom and shower so that helps.

Thanks! Trust me it's going to be cut up soon. I bought this off a guy that bought it in Dallas. He had injured himself and the bus sat for 4 months, decided to let his conversion dreams go.
