The road to dream land

Hi! I'm Sprocket from Oklahoma City. I've had this dream since I saw my first real Skoolie in real life that when my kids are grown and I've finally saved enough that I would retire to a Skoolie. Until an amazing thing happened the other day in the middle of trying to pick the right house my long time girlfriend princess (also a user on here) says "hey what if we just bought a bus and didn't buy a house". So the adventure begins. Thank all up front for all the wonderful info and I looked forward to meeting some of you in the coming years as we travel the road of dreams.

Now to step one buy a bus and pay down debt!!!

Now the eternal debate. Instead of "what do you want to eat for dinner", we will now forever discuss, "where do you want to go?"

Very excited to read more on skoolie conversion and slowly get to buying our own bus!

So far my driving skills aren't trusted to operate the bus, BUT I'm a hell of a helper. I have zero building/electrical/plumbing knowledge. What I can do is make a mean cup of coffee, bring the right tool when asked, and hold things.

Oh my haha. Well smart thinking on the stick cutting! I'm so jealous you're even working on your bus! We are both pretty ready to start.
