Two Skoolies in the Works

Hi guys,
I recently purchased two busses that will be converted into rolling homes. The first is a 2002 Thomasbuilt GMC Savanna 3500 mini bus. The other is a 1999 Blue Bird 80 passenger diesel pusher. Both are recently retired Arizona school busses and are rust free. I took a part time job Years ago as a school bus driver to make ends meet. I’m very familiar with the many different busses out there and these are two of my favorites. The baby bus will be for my daughter while the full sized bus will be for me. We plan on living in them full time. I’ll be pulling out all the stops and plan on doing two high end builds with solar, compost toilets, great kitchens, etc. I was inspired by Jane Lidz book, Rolling Homes, Handmade Houses on Wheels. I’ve had my copy since 1993 and I’ve finally decided to live my dream. I look forward to becoming an active member of this community and will be documenting and sharing the experience on YouTube as well as through my website www.rossrollinghomes.com
