UPS vs Deep cycle batteries

Hi,
I am a new memeber and just bought and started working on a half modified 19 ft 1992 chev G30 schoolie. I need to buy some house batteries and have the chance to pick up a few "SBS 190F 12v 190 AH" batteries. It seems these are UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and wonder if anybody has any experience using them? Looking forwaqrd to evertyones thoughts on this.

From a quick Google search, it appears that those batteries are Deep Cycle (found a distributor which listed them as Lead Acid) which are/can be used in a UPS system. Treat it like any other Lead Acid Deep Cycle battery (50% usable Amp hours, if you want the longest life). Let the price shopping commence.

I'd also looked them up, since I wasn't familiar with them. They do appear to be lead-acid AGM batteries and they are quite pricey, which might indicate some quality. The part of their description which seems concerning is their mention of "thin plate" design, for quick charging and discharging. Typically, the robust true deep-cycle batteries I've had experience with have thicker plates for longer life. I didn't find any real detail nor cycle life expectancy data.
