Hi Christine,
No I have not done a build. I have a few things to wrap up before I can dive into a build. I've helped with car restoration here and there in the past, but mostly just do what I'm told. I was hoping to help someone out, get involved in the process, build a network, learn a few things, and see if it's still a project I'd like to take on in a year or so.

I am also reasonably close to Rehab.

I have never done this either and am flying by the seat of my pants! It has been hard work so far, but I am excited to get the building process going. We should set a time and date to meet up at Rehab.

I will start a new thread as a callout to the other locals. We can sort it out from there.

Rig welding...every turnaround needs good welders, especially exotic metals...

In Brookeland about 2.5 hours northeast of Houston. Just bought a 2007 international 42 passenger. Haven’t started conversion yet but already took her down to Galveston. We definitely need a southeast TX Skoolie get together in the near future. Good luck on your conversion! Awesome bus!

I'm right on the NE edge of downtown. A block south of IH-10.

Just a few blocks away. My art studio is at Hardy & Nance, but the bus is up Jensen about a mile.

You folks do know by now that we are having a Skoolie Meet N' Greet right? This Saturday (the 14th) at REHAB Bar on the Bayou about 4pm. All are welcome.

I am close to Houston. I have always wanted to go to Texas - I am heading across I-10... stopping in New Orleans today - maybe I can get to Houston this weekend.

I would love to see some more Skoolie folks!

note: Will travel for free parking
