Exclamation Which Engine to Get HELP

Guys i am in a bit confusion.

I want to buy a 5 window School bus but dont know which enginee to get. gas or diesel.
I dont want to get something that breaks down a lot also expensive to fix. so far my options are

2009 Chevy LS3500 6.6L V8 OHV 32V TURBO DIESEL
130k mileage $4000
or
2003 Chevy vortex 6000 v8 sfi gas engine ? 150k mileage asking $4k

You definitely don't want the 2009 diesel, then. You probably don't want the gasser, either.

I would probably take the gasser before the diesel in this case. 6.0 Vortec is actually a good engine, but GM transmissions have left something to be desired in the past 15 to 20 years. The Duramax diesel has a reputation for fuel system problems.
