Wow in really doing this!

Hey all! I just got a steal of a deal on a 1995 Thomas rear engine skoolie and I have always been interested in a conversion! But wowee am I in over my head as I have 0 constriction experience. I'm a quick learner though and there's nothing like my determination. Any and all resources and tips are more than welcome. So glad to have found a community like this!

Welcome aboard.
Few people (there are some) have all the skills needed when they start out. Read and ask questions, you'll be a master builder in no time

Welcome, congrats and condolences (for the inevitable slogging and hard work ahead). Should be worth it all.

Welcome and congratulations! Buy Band-Aids, and some nice tweezers for splinters

I didn't know anything when we started, aside from some basic tool knowledge - but I figured it all out, everything works, and we're about to depart for 1 year on the road!
My motto for the build is "nothing is ever easy, but it is always rewarding."

The individuals on this forum have been a huge support, and I could not have made it this far this fast without them.

Ask questions and be open minded. You can do it!
