01’ International 3800 - Hitch/Wiring - TOAD QUESTIONS

2001 International 3800 Dog Nose.
Buying a wrangler and know what flat tow system we want to get for it but we don’t know what wiring harness or hitch to get. Anyone else tow with their 3800 dog nose?

Would love some links to the products you used.

I'm in the process of putting a tow hitch on my 2006 IC conventional. If you've swapped out all the lights for LEDs you can probably get away with tapping into the brake and turn lights in the back. Run a dedicated line from the battery (on a fuse of course with the right gauge wires) for the auxillary power. If you're still running incadescent lights you should probably run fresh wires from the relay in the fuse box with the correct gauge wiring and fuses.

I did a CURT 14082 Class 4 Trailer Hitch. It's a pretty generic width that fits most bus frames, you just gotta measure.
