you should be able to call IH dealer with your VIN and get the part number..

I bought one from the International dealer. Seems like the dang thing was about $60.00. Sure would be cheaper to find a used one. I thought that was ridiculous.

After re reading your post-- I see you are just looking for the part number. I have had poor luck with getting part numbers from my local (45 miles away) dealer. I think they coach the counter guys to not give out that info if possible. I had one guy at one dealership-- that every time he looked up a part he would give you the part number. Maybe he was new?

Tried that they were very rude ! Saying there were very few parts availible for such an old bus. Will try another dealer and just try to get the part number..

I dug up my invoice-- so here is your part # 497462C1. They charged me $ 71.45 plus tax.

Here is one I spotted on the net for $55.00 or so--

These parts are very much available from the dealer, they just didn't want to take the time to look it up....

Thanks Guys I found one in factory box for $40.00 ! I also needed a fuel sending unit got one for about $25.00 shipped sealed in factory box ! One Dealer said I think $180.00 and other one over $200.00 It's been good part hunting this month !
