1997 Thomas bus Questions....looking for your help

(not sure I posted this in the correct section, so thought this might me the correct section.....)

Thank you all for your advice in advance!

I've spend some time on the Forum trying to get up to speed on this vehicle.

It's listed with a 5.9 Cummins with automatic transmission. It has a image of the speedo with mileage at 83,000 miles. The exterior has been painted, interior is set with a long bench on one side, then bench seats facing each other with tables between. There is an amp with stereo system and flat screen TV mounted in the rear with a "converter" running it all. Front tires good, rear about 50%. Graphic/letting on front show a restaurant name/phone which I assume it was used as a party type bus. (See attached pictures) t I'm looking at carrying cost, called insurance yesterday to get a feel what it would cost (any insights on special what to handle this?)

Second would to determine parking/storage cost.

My initial thought was to use it around town with a bunch of friends, also have a summer home 4 hours south which would be fun to have there too.

Having said all that, I don't know what kind of $$$$ i would be getting myself into....is the actual cost the least of what I'd be having?

What kind of maintanance should I expect?

Mileage?

Being a school bus is this made for the open road, can I drive 4 hours ?(at what speed) without be concerned/stranded (I realize any vehicle can break down).

Are there specific items I need to watch for when checking out that you have experienced?

As noted above I really appreciate you experiences and insights!

This could be something really cool or disaster......
