2002 bluebird... good deal? what should i know?

hello all,

waiting to get more information on the specs of this, but wanted to get some opinions at first glance, and guidance on what questions i may want to ask of this person to make an informed decision.

wanting something already liveable to park on a friend's land and live there year round in upstate ny.

$10,000 2002 chevrolet bluebird

Ad says "Well kept and functional. It has a compost toilet and a working fireplace. Sink with a foot pump connected to a 5 gallon jug. Stove top runs on propane. The transmission needs to be replaced. It does not run"

10K? Ok it has a few nice fixtures.. but a woodstove that looks like it is just sitting in some cups.. insurance nightmare.. its show in deep snow yet has factory walls and insulation .. I guess that fireplace would have to be used t okeep it warm..

all that hangy stuff in the kitchen looks like its ready to come down on the first pothole filled road the bus sees..

for 10K and it doesnt even RUN?????? I know I would RUN away fast.

I agree...run away!

Where you gonna shower in that thing?

If you are just gonna park it then You can get a larger non running bus for almost free if you shop well and add insulation and decorate it yourself.
