I did not want to start a new topic just to ask this question, so I will ask it here. What does RAGBRAI stand for?

Freaky - I was just wondering this yesterday, even wandered into that sticky to look at 'em.
Couldn't quite figure it out by looking at the busses there.

Re: '39 GM Futureliner for sale - $795,000

John, Thanks for answering my question. I had a friend who did two west coast to east cost bicycle rides. One was on a regular bicycle. One was on a recumbent. He now rides nothing but recumbent bicycles.

Getting back on topic, that Futureliner is beautiful. I think that the 302 motor might be a little small for a vehicle that size.

Re: '39 GM Futureliner for sale - $795,000

I think this was sold at a Barret Jackson auction over new years over 5 years ago for 10 million...But I got CRS so the price might be off...It was bought by a guy at the auction who worked for a very rich guy that was starting a museum and was buying up rare vehicles like they were day old rolls.

It was 1 of 3(?) concept vehicles and is not road legal in any state.

12 were made! http://www.futurliner.com/other.htm
