A dealer near me has a nice 2001 84 pax Thomas All American, also without engine or trans. I didn't even ask the price on it. RUN AWAY!

Just the labor of doing something like that should be worth quite a bit to you. Then there's the frustration quotient that makes projects like this not worth it.

Just mixing and matching the electrical systems is enough to turn me away. But then I'm electrophobic.

As of March 1 (I believe) all trucking has to be on electronic logs no more off the books side hauling.I don't know if farm trucks are exempt but since many "farm trucks" are for hire I doubt many are exempt.

Having been through a few basket case resurrections I strongly advise folks with no to minor experience to avoid that like the flu. Plus very few good diesel techs would touch it, to much good side work out there to take on a nightmare such as that.

Yep...that's the general consensus...which means yet another dream is probably out of reach
