So I live in s.f. and I'm about this do some work on my bus and I'm just trying to cover my bases I have AAA premium and they tell me I'm covered for a 200 mile tow .needing a tow would be a bad time for surprises. Do any of you have any experience with AAA AND Skoolie?

Where are you going to be working on the bus in SF? I live in Vacaville, When I had AAA they would only tow to the closes repair facility.

I have AAA, the fine print says, I think, something about length of RV. I think 35 feet. Haven't needed it so don't really know.

My plan is though AARP: 8 tows per year, five can be for the bus/RV. Up to 200 miles.

Used it 6 times last year: 1 bus, 1 RV, 4 different cars (none mine... I hate living so close to family). AARP will send the kind of truck I request (my sports car always goes on a flatbed), but sometimes that means added delay. In most towns, it's less than an hour.
