Ben Rosandar has passed.

I thought that I would let those who don't know already that Ben Rosander has passed away from cancer. Ben wrote many bus conversion books and featured my bus in one of his floor plan books.

Ben ran the website http://www.rv-busconversions.com at which he sold his books and had many links to information on bus conversion. I never met Ben but when I first got into conversions we tried to meet up at a bus show. Ben was always enthusiastic about school bus conversions and I know that he will be missed by many.

My condolences to his friends and family.

I corresponded with Ben on numerous occasions and was well aware of his rare form of cancer. Not that any cancer is better, but his was a particularly nasty, completely body-rotting variety.

He always (with me, anyway) was upbeat and positive about it, and his kind, humble nature with others masked to many his abundant health problems.

His enthusiasm for busses and those who love them continues to be a beacon to those of us who live on to share this unique interest.

He will be much missed and remembered by many.

SALUTE, BEN! I'm better for having known you.

Ah...total bummer. Ben was a great guy and was always willing to help. He lived just down the road from me but we never got the chance to meet up. He'll be missed in the Conversion community for sure.
