I would never utilize any type of organic insulator in a bus build.

Spray foam is the superior insulator as done properly it:
1) SEALS all those little leaks that add up to reduce insulation
2) Prevents voids that allow condensation to form which then allows corrosion to begin eating away at the inside of your rig.
3) Provides sound deadening
4) Reduces structural movement for a "tighter ship" in the short and long term.
5) Is cost competitive to much less effective materials
6) Provides the best real world R value possible in a given thickness.

I don't know what Reflectix is. I've got a lot of mylar space blankets I'm considering using on the walls between the windows and the floor. Anyone who thinks this tech doesn't keep heat in has never used a space blanket. I'm sure it will make a difference if I get up north of 60. Down south I suppose it could make things worse. Maybe will use blue stik or something temporary to install it.
