Best way to use your bus in the desert!

Our bus is our house and our car. We use it as a daily driver as well as our electrical power plant, water hauler, tool shed, and dog runner. You read it correctly, Dog Runner. Our four year old pitbull, Buddy, loves to be chased by the bus. A couple times a week we run him on the dirt roads between Akela Community Church and Freedom Field, New Mexico, our home. Then on a daily basis Rock chases him with the toad around the property and local roads. In the evenings and on cool days he may run 15-16 miles. Most of the time we let him tell us when he is ready to stop, but on hot days we sometimes have to tell him to "load up."

Notice the ladder hanging from the mirror mounts on the front of the bus. That's a 22' Gorilla Ladder. It goes everywhere with us. Most of the time it is for getting up and wiping the dust off the solar panels, but we find other ways it comes in handy. No skoollie should be without a ladder or a dog.

Hey you guys post here and tell us about the unconventional ways you utilize your bus.
