Biggest Kayak to carry?

I have a question. I have a 14 foot kayak and i would like to know if anyone has any ideas on how to travel with it safely. Or should I drop down to a 12' for ease of travel

I have not bought a bus yet however im looking at a 35' Dognose or a 30'-35' flatnost pusher.

We had two 12' kayaks and had planned to put them on the roof, however once we tried getting them up there we realized what a major pain in the a** it is.

Our roof is approx 10' off the ground, which means one person on to and one on the ground. Our kayaks were just too heavy to feel comfortable wrestling them up there. I felt it would deter us from wanting to take them down "unless it was worth it."

Now opting for an inflatable kayak or SUP just to get us out on the water, using our bus compressor to inflate. Still haven't pulled the trigger though...

We had been down that road with an 18' canoe and my tacoma - it was just such a pain to pack up we used it less and less until eventually not at all, which lead to kayaks lol
