(don't worry world -- I've driven other large rigs -- just not a school bus...)

It would be fun to drive it in the simulation

I've not looked into the program beyond that which has been posted in this thread.

Dummiesman, how much does the program cost and is it multiplatform?

The game is on Steam for ~$20USD (converted from 27.99 CAD), unfortunately only for Windows though. I tested a few months ago on Linux with Wine and it worked alright, but was significantly slower with multiple vehicles than with Windows.

Could you get a picture and dimensions of this bit? I could've sworn there were better photos of it around but I can't find any good ones. Working on closing gaps and adding missing bits on the interior today

I'm finishing up interior detail at the moment and realizing I don't know where the pedals attach to. If I were to make them now they'd be floating

@Native, calling on you for another picture

I have added Dynamat Extreme as well as Dybamat Hood Liner to the firewall behind the pedals so you may not be able to see the exact bolting.

Just about ready for in-game export .
Color inspired by banman's bus. The FS-65 looks pretty good in dark grey.

@Native thanks for all your help so far Hopefully I won't run into too many things that need to be done

That's pretty awesome!

Have you had a chance to drive a real bus?

If you're ever in Columbus, let me know -- bring your gaming machine so we can trade experiences!

I have not. I'm in Ontario so that's not too far

Indeed they do! Ours is currently flat black (primer) ... a VERY dark grey.

That's how most school spec buses seem to be. As you know the cage is there so it doesn't become a Pinto

I don't see why not. Here's a couple older teasers with a heavily WIP model for now:

Here I just suck at driving and didn't mean to run into this post, whoops

Tried to take it on a loop, didn't have the power and fell onto these blocks, shredding the roof.

Here's a quick video of a short drive into a wall in BeamNG with the new model.

The frame clamps are a bit too stubborn to slide forwards now. Still lots of tweaking to go for the physics

Oh how fun!

For authenticity sake, the hood in the model was shown as metal. The hoods are fiberglass and will "tear", not bend.
