Bus value?

Looking at two buses, was wondering what the skoolie community would value them at.

The first is a 2003 E450, 5 window with a 7.3l and 180k miles. It is slow starting, likely needs batteries, and the glow plug system refreshed.

The second is a 2001 Chevy 5 window with the 6.5l diesel (perhaps my least favorite engine of all time), 130k miles.

Both buses look clean and relatively rust free. With the given information, what would you value both buses at?

I'd leave the 6.5 alone - no idea what it might cost, but it's not worth much - lol

Yes, I normally wouldn't think twice about a 6.5, but we need something temporary Asap, and this bus is less than 2 miles from the house.

Very familiar with Deboss.....wasted many an hours watching his channel.

I probably won't end up with the 6.5l.....the seller seems to think it is made of gold. I would estimate its value at about $2k....I will report back. Apples to apples, I would rather have a higher mileage 7.3l than a low mileage 6.5l. Even after you work out all of the problems with a 6.5l, you still have a cast crank diesel. If the price is right, I would buy it, and plan to swap in a small block down the road, hopefully before it dies.
