Carrier AC unit could be yours! If you can remove...

I’ll admit, I was just coming to accept that I’ll probably have to keep it, but I’ll put it out there just in case...

My 2009 Chevy 3500 has a rear Carrier unit that shares a condenser with the standard front AC. I’ve gutted all of the wiring EXCEPT for the AC, and sure I can move it, etc. etc.... Reasoning (for all of those who will convince me it’s a bad idea): (a) clear all wiring, more space up front above-driver; (b) clear out rear unit, more space there; (c) I’ll be driving on my own, rear AC is only good while vehicle is running, in which case, I’ll just run the front for myself; (d) I’ll be living in pretty moderate conditions (Northern California), I’ve never had AC and curse the day I decide it’s a necessity.

I’m converting the bus in Western North Carolina at the moment, and if any brave soul has interest in/use for the Carrier in-wall unit, AND feels fairly confident that they can pull it out and maintain my front AC, I’ll happily make it a work trade with ya.

Shooting my very very very long shot.
