Ceiling Help!

So We Want To Renovate Our Ceiling, But We THINK We Have An Issue. It’s Hard For Us To Tell How All The Pieces Of Sheet Metal Are Connected (In The Photos) Can’t Really Tell If All The Pieces Are Separate Or What? Hopefully You Can See What I Mean By The Photos Provided?

If You Have Any Tips Or Something To Help, We Would Appreciate It. Thanks

Looks like just a matter of starting on the fasteners on the outermost piece of metal first and working your way in.
