I though I was a mini-member because I had a short bus!

Re: Classifacation of members on the forum

The classification of the members is determined by how many posts they make.

The moderators are usually picked according to how long they have been on the forum, and how they interact with the other members.

What he said, except for Smitty [RIP?] who was bestowed the singular title of "Bus Geek" by Steve.

I think it also depends on the frequency of site visits. The primary purpose of the moderators (as I understand it) is not to regulate speech, but to zap new accounts set up for the purpose of peddling cheap Viagra and fake designer handbags. This allows Steve to do other things with his time, as none of us gets more than 1440 minutes per day to work with. I have seen relative newcomers become moderators if they are available to watch the board.

We were all Mini-Members once. If my math is correct, as of 10/1/2012 you need 29 more posts to lose the "Mini-"
