Clear coat over Rustoleum?

I was ready to paint my entire exterior (minus the roof (Tropicool)) using Rustoleum; then I stumbled across a comment saying it fades in the sun.

I still intend to do Rustoleum but do not want fading... anyone know if clear coat would help? I’m no painter... would any additives prolong the life?

Great! Looks like Rustoleum with some hardener it is. Thanks for the link!

Would the hardener be in lieu of clear coat?... I just don't want to be blasted by wind, sand and bugs on a big trip and get out to find the paint didn't stand up to it?!

Don't know, personally.
Better to ask your question on the established thread, tho. [emoji106]

clear coat would definitely help - make sure the clear coat is compatible with the paint you use - you wouldn't want the clear coat to lift the colour coat

Rustoleum sells clearcoat right next to the other paints.
