Clearance and Overhang

Good day,
I am doing some research to figure out which buses have the fewest clearance issues. I'm looking for overhang/clearance measurements on various body types and sizes.

NOTE: I do not want to debate this. I'm simply collecting data which I'll summarize and post to my blog to help others out.

I'm looking for the following data points:
Type: Neoplan N117/2 Spaceliner
Front Overhang: 9 feet or 108 inches
Front Clearance: 13 inches
Body Clearance: 8.5"
Rear Overhang: 10 feet or 120 inches
Rear Clearance: 13 inches.
If you have a history of scrapes feel free to summarize. I've got marks on front and back on mine...but thankfully no high centers.

From this I can calculate the approach and departure angles (6.86 and 6.18 on the above coach).

I've read several roadway design and clearance studies and concluded that 7 feet of overhang is a magic number. An approach/departure angle of 13 degrees also seems to come up.

I think this is something that is a significant issue for folks who want to travel alot or boondock off paved roads.
