Considering a TC2000 > Thoughts?

Hello, new member here.

Been thinking about a bus. Came across a 1998 TC2000 with mechanical 5.9

Less than 60k miles. 11 window. Air conditioning. No rust.

They are asking $5500. Seems reasonable to me,

Anything to be cautions about on this?

I kinda love the Wonderlodges, but they seem complex. So I thought I could build one myself how I want it.

Probably has the AT545, least desirable tranny. I would not pay that much for that bus. $3500 maybe, probably not if it is a 545. More than likely had a speedo replacement, very common. That bus should have 230k on it. Wanderlodge is a school bus with half the ribs.

Thanks for the reply.

I was really tempted as this bus looks to be in excellent condition and I really like the mechanical engine vs computers.

I think the AT545 is the show stopper. We really need something we can drive vs live in stationary.
