The picture, at the bottom of my post, is that of a rolling chassis, which contains all of the necessary components to propel itself.
The pictures, that you provided, do not really show a replaced chassis. I see the the floor has been replaced. Hard work. The seller should be proud of his accomplishment, but the floor has no moving parts nor any mechanical function. Some school buses haven't any steel on the floor, only wood, right out of the factory.
Anyone, who purchaces a retired commercial vehicle, ought to look at it in person. Especially, if its not being sold by the school, and has been repaired, cleaned, and altered. The fluid drips, stains, wear, etc can tell you much more than new paint or a steam cleaning. All can be hidden in pics.
