Just called her to follow up from this morning. She's fairly convinced its just her respiratory issues.
Thanks for all the well-wishes though. I love this forum.

I’m fairly certain runny nose is not a symptom. Hoping for the best

The antibody testing has been discontinued. So has regular covid testing. At least at the county level. Place we got ours done was shut down a week or two after.
I thought opening up more was supposed to mean MORE testing.
People are EVERYWHERE here this weekend. Its busy as all heck.

Wow ! They are still ramping up testing here. It’s getting easier to get a swab or an antibody test.. possible because they developed some of those tests here at batelle

They loosened up the restrictions at Fort Benning. We can now go to businesses other than bars and clubs as long as we wear masks and attempt to keep 6 feet distance. Camping is now allowed, but we have a 75 mile travel radius.

Columbus, GA has 50-75% of customers and 90% of employees masked because of Fort Benning's influence. My understanding is the rest of the state is trying to catch up on their social lives now that this is completely past us...

It is so sad that this seems to be the attitude of so many areas!

FL hit 50k cases today.

My county decided "screw the planned drive-through HS graduations" and are just having a normal graduations now.

The cases in our county are starting to explode. They are now doubling every 5 days. I'm sure it is due to the influx of tourists and the totals will be even higher after this weekend. The way our reporting works is people from out of state that test positive do not even show up in our state statistics. So much for Western South Dakota being mostly corona free.

That is so wrong! They should have a separate category for "non-resident infections" or something so it can be tracked. Simply sweeping those cases under the rug is really bad. I would hope to think the non-resident's home state should be informed for tracking, but I seriously doubt that will happen.

OUr unemployment website is constantly down. Its down today. When she calls they just say they can't do anything at all. Its all a big circle that keeps repeating.

Looking at that representation made me think about voter fraud. A bunch of the shadowed characters in that thing were just carbon copy of other characters in the representation. Kinda like the dead people who get to vote a dozen times in each election.

Not trying to discount the lives lost to Covid, because I know that is very real. I lost a cousin to it in January when this all started in our country, and another cousin last week that will likely be pinned on Covid.

Just saying I don't believe much of anything involving number accuracy that comes from the government or the media.

Like Forests momma always says, stupid is as stupid does. People will do what they want even when you warn them against it. It is up to each of us as individuals to do what is necessary to protect Numero Uno! That's what we are doing, keeping ourselves safe while others around us crash and burn. But, that really isn't anything different than what we have always done, just looks a bit different right now.

I guess memorializing the dead is bad for some folks political agendas.
All scientific sources say the death count is in reality much higher. I'll take the word of science over politicians and their sock puppets.
