There’s only one possible case in the world thus far of reinfectiion and it’s not 100% known as the 2nd supposed infection never yielded symptoms.

Antibodies are one part but also are T cells which in some patients are shown to build after even an astmptomatic infection..

Little is known so it’s still a good idea to be careful after infection but this far the track record is pretty good.

Busses .. the trans directors I know have stopped selling busses even if their schools are on E learn right now.. the expectation is that slowly as schools open more busses are needed due to load limiting on board..

The consensus among most schools , students, and parents is that E learn is a necessary evil right now but it sucls to say the least.. so a return to classroom style at some point is the goal and most want it sooner than later..

I saw on the news today that a person did get reinfected with COVID-19. I did notpay attention as to the location of this.

EastCoastCB are you a doctor ? or have any medical experience with viruses ?

Please stop giving advice you have no business giving, you are spreading bad information. You do not know if "antibodies go away pretty quickly" or "2-3 months" you are just making assumptions based on low grade info from unverifiable media sources. Please stop.

Went to Harbor Freight. I've been stuck on getting my mower blades off. The Bosch "Freak" impact I recently bought lacked the balls to do it. My old HF corded impact is what I used to use but it was stolen in November. So After trying 3 different impacts from friends I bought the biggest corded model at HF.
They're doing GREAT at HF with covid measures. Would go back again. FULL spit shields, mask mandate, enforcing of distancing, and limiting how many come in the store at one time. First time I've seen full mask compliance. Noted more people wearing masks out and about. Good thing.

I got my info from the CDC last week. I'm not a doctor, but I'm sure a few work there.

HF has def been doing good they will even do curbside here if you order and want to pick up..

Lowe’s and HD here are doing well too and also have curbside.. I have done several mobile order and pickup ..

I’ve been sticking to stores coffee-shops and carry-out or patio from places in small towns and suburbs.. it seems people are more polite , more clean, and masked up well.. thus far it’s worked for me,

Groceries here are better like now you can use a U scan and never touch the machine once.. they don’t like you bringing your own bags but haven’t stopped me either.. I really only go in for convenience items small orders sometimes..

People are getting in the swing of things more now..

If the rain stops we may actually go pick up a pizza curbside.

In Indonesia they're making folks who get caught not wearing masks dig the graves for folks who have died from covid.

Very practical.

Things are slowly getting closer and closer to normal in the military, kind of. I took a business trip to Detroit this past week. However, I now get to work from home for the next 2 weeks...

It's been weeks since any of my Soldiers or their family members tested positive. A few went to funerals or weddings and likewise had to quarantine at home. Still no organized PT, but the gyms are open, we're doing PT tests, and there are less restrictions on our movement off-post.

We've gone camping near here in the bus, but nothing too extraordinary.

I have no idea what's going on with covid - the sharp rise followed by a sudden fall-off in georgia and Florida still doesn't make any sense to me.

Military folks do the mask thing, even though most consider themselves extremely low risk.

Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL both have mask mandates. Most civilians around here wear masks properly, though there are a few that refuse.

Masking is still really good here.. in fact maybe a little more all the time.. schools have been the big issue along with campus bars.. the school issues here are multi-fold.. the E-learn system they are using for columbus is failing miserably.. the kids arent learning, teachers are frustrated, parents are fristrated.. tutors are being hired, group learn sessions are happening so of course more cases are happening..

also being in ohio people are migrating indoors again.. now this week and next we have 70s by day and 40s by night so people can be outside and dine outside but we had a week of cool wet weather and the cases in the area are showing up..

my bus is generating a lot of attention it seems.. people see me or me and roomie dining in the bus or drinking coffee (there are FEW select places that we go and dine inside. really just a couple coffee shops that have HUGE open spaces and good ventilation. and one Pizza restaraunt that is similar.. but as soon as people start heading in, we are out...

thus the bus.. parking lot culture became a thing here with people eating on truck tailgates, bag chairs, vans, etc.. people are interested in the idea as the biggest complaints for carry out are "its cold or old" when it gets home.. ie crispy fries even if they are brought home in heated bags are soggy.. burgers like rubber.. people are tired of Pizza..

that said restaraunts are failing.. and they dont seem to want to embrace the idea of parking lot culture.. a couple have.. they welcome people to use the restroom if needbe.. they have big trash cans outside and you can select a free "care package" with your carry out that includes salt / pepper, plastic ware plates and napkins.. but most havebnt figured out that the biggest diners are the most concerned..

I know why.. they want tips for their servers.. carry-outs generally bring less tips.. people can order a maximum of 2 drinks, people usually dont buy dessert.. some places are even offering specials for dine in only guests.. I called a couple out on it as I felt snubbed trying to stay healthy vs sit in their crowded over-chilled dining room..

nevertheless I expect a really hard winter psychologically.. whether I survive or not mentally will be see in spring

but the DEV bus will be getting lots of use.. the new webasto and the remote telematics are fun to build while the weather is still nice

I dont take the red one out much any more as it doesnt have a use during CoVid.. I do sometimes take it to my local office as it is a better highway cruiser than the DEV.

That's a shame, mask wearing and other sensible precautions (in the proper contexts) is very high in my part of the country. Its just become normal and sensible and only slightly irritating. Even during the mass evacuations during the wildfires people were pretty good, actually probably better, at taking sensible precautions.
