Yep. That sucks. I'll bet that if Turkey decides to go into Iran, we'll be paying around $4 a gallon. The oil companies will use that as an excuse to screw us some more.

I have quite a few vehicles like some of the others here so I thought I would take the plunge and buy a 55 gallon barrel of oil (I use Rotella T in everything but my HD's). It's only going to get more expensive and hopefully it will last the rest of my life or as a friend of mine said "45 or so oil changes". I have also been buying a few cases of antifreeze and transmission fluid to ease my worst case senario/inflation/shortage fears. sportyrick

You know what's odd is that crude prices have continued to rise yet gas prices locally have stayed the same. I would say that it just hasn't caught up yet, but crude prices were on the rise a week ago yet gas costs the same.

Veggie oil doesn't do my Civic any good and the bus is already parked for the winter. It's probably for the best anyway. With daytime highs hovering around 40* lately I don't think I would be all that successful in running veggie right now anyway.
