I'm new to Skoolie.net and I have lots of questions. Is one brand of bus better than the others? I would like to find a rear engine bus about 30 to 35 feet in length, a 40 foot would be to long. What are the best year models to look for? I like Blue Bird brand and their engine/transmission combinations. I have read that a Cummins turbo diesel 8.3L, DC466 (wet sleeve cylinders) is a highly desirable mechanical engine. The Allison MT-643 auto transmission is said to be a rock-solid transmission. Please offer you opinions regarding the above and many thanks for all replies.
