Damn Smitty! This is some really good news. But frankly, I have stated unequivocally for years that if:
A. We can harness the energy of the "hot air" in Washington (i.e. perhaps aerothermal rather than geothermal) and have an almost perpetual energy source (if you don't believe it, look at Congressional filibusters).
B. We can use methane digestor technology to convert the total BS coming out of Government into a usable fuel source.
That would place the US squarely at the top of the world's energy producing nations. Any nay-sayers on this one?
