Here in lake county the buses are horrible. They just got a bunch of new buses so it looks ok for now but the old ones are sitting in sad piles/pieces.

Yup, I'm seeing that. In Orange and Volusia counties they have excellent fleet maintenance. I'm hoping to get one of those at an auction but I don't know enough about auctions and am afraid I'll get something I'll not be able to drive off the lot with. That would put me in a worse situation than now.

The alternative is to buy one from a used lot and spend double to triple what they paid for at an auction and didn't make any repairs on. Sheesh!

Sounds like you have a good understanding of the used bus market.
