Free MaxxForce software

I'm not sure if my bus falls under one of the categories. I have a 98 International 3800 dt466e Navistar. Is it DLC I6 (1998 – 2004)? I'm assuming the "I" in "I6 refers to International? What's DLC?

Thanks

I 6 stands for inline 6 cylinder, I believe.

Also as an FYI, Maxxforce was the rebranded engines after 2008. The software you're looking for is called servicemaxx j1708. It's free to download from snap-on and works on pre-maxxforce engines. The newer version for maxxforce engines requires an annual subscription to use.

Thanks. The attached image states j1708. I was just making sure I I didn't misunderstand what buses the free software was for. Appreciate it!
