Get togethers?

Are there ever any get togethers for Skoolie members? I would think that it would be really cool to meet some members that we talk to on here. I know it would take a while to do the planning. Maybe we could start planning now for something in a year or two. We sure could help lots of people along on a lot of things. Just think of all the story telling. Due to the geographic expanse
of our members we would probably have to do several regional meet ups. I just think it would be great to do this. There would be lots of ideas and information being exchanged and I think it would be wonderful. Any members interested in kicking the idea around?

We're down for something local this year (NE USA), or just about anywhere next year (when we plan to be finished and on the road - trying to be realistic).

My grandparents used to do RV rallies and road trip caravans all the time. They had lots of fun doing it.

I'd like to see something around the end of August into September only cause the weather hopefully would be more comfortable. At the rate we've been going on our conversion, we won't be ready know matter when a meet is scheduled.

Well, in thinking about it, all we have to do to get on the road as we sit is to batten down the hatches....and fill water jugs......and get a 5 gallon bucket.....and get a pile of sawdust....oh and get a seat for the bucket....and I guess tons of plastic bags to put the used sawdust in....and...ah forget it.

We'll make do however if we can get a meet going.
