I dunno if they can or will tell you that kind of detail. I live between two of those MD locations. I've no idea what an axle carrier vs an axle assembly is but the highest price on their list is a dually axle at $146 something so if you spend less than $500 in gas, food, etc., you're good.

Offer is good if you're ever up this way. I've got a couch and an extra bedroom at the moment. Oneday someday I'll get this damn house sold. I'll still have a couch available regardless.

One of us ain't doing something right. I have two 2003 Ram Van 2500s at the 6201 Erdman Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21205 location. One was checked in in Oct and the was last week. The Oct one you should call about just to make sure (they usually sit 4~6 I guess). The one from Dec 7th will definitely be there. Call anyway to make sure it wasn't rear ended by a dump truck but it wouldn't be crushed for scrap yet.

Here's the location you're going to want. They have the two 2003s. You;ve got your choice of black or white. I've not been to the one at this location. Just at a glance they are open an hour later and 7 days a week. The one that I went to closes at 4 and isn't open Sundays. Not sure why I went to that one as this one is actually closer to my house. The other is on the way to work.

Thanks!
I doubt they pull and ship parts, but I wonder if they could be persuaded.
If this works out it would be awesome. Lower gearing and a stronger rear are just what this lil van needs.

They do have a lot of people running around but good luck with that.

If they can't be persuaded, I can be. My standard rate is a 6 pack per busted knuckle. I dunno about shipping tho. Strap it to a pallet and send it Road Kill?

Had a 9.25 in my dodge spun a tire on some ice and shattered the sun and planetaries in the diff. If you want strength get the whole rear but that would mean 8 lug wheels . it would have full.floating axles though for more capacity.

The Ram Vans also use a different shock mount. The splines on the axles are also different. Found that out when my idgit know it all brother sent me his old sun and planetaries. They wouldn't fit the axles on my 91 2500. The spiders and through pin fit but the splines were coarse versus fine.

Hey! ECCB! That wally world carb cleaner is a pretty good deal! I buy 8 cans at a time. It also makes good starting fluid for small engines or your car. And those umbrella shaped wasp nests? Just soak em down and the wasps start dropping out. Dead before they hit the ground.

Carrier is the housing that holds the ring and pinion no axles or hubs or wheels or axle housing . will not work on a corporate rear as it's assembled in the entire banjo housing. Dana rear ends have a carrier. Corporate rear ends do not. Another note on the dodges you can build the corporate rear end in the vehicle but you have to support the van on the frame and disconnect the shocks so it will drop down enough to clear the fuel tank.

GolferSmurf you really do know your Mopars!

So we've been just using the van as our daily driver and its been great. The rear end still makes that whine but I hardly notice it anymore and its holding up just fine.
The body, on the other hand, isn't. a rusty spot on the floor that didn't look too bad at first has become a huge hole. We were unloading a 65" TV and I looked down at the floor and saw the leaf spring! DERP!

So I'm gonna weld in a repair and probably paint the whole cargo floor once I've got any other rust I find taken care of.
I also need to fix some loose door seals. Actually ALL of them.

And its also time for a new headliner. Not much of this one is still in place. Its blowing around in the wind like some kind of magic carpet or something.

Still a great deal on a very simple, basic van. So glad we're not stuck just driving our horrible Subaru.

Thanks! It's gonna sound even better when I get around to fixing the exhaust leak. Muffler is split right down the seam.

Its used a bit of oil, from what I've read and based on how its running it seems the likely suspect is the intake manifold gasket. Almost every v-configuration engine I've owned has had the intake gasket fail.

Its been hot this week. I actually said to Roxy the other day that "man I sure could use some AC, but oh well". She said something like "Chris told you that". lol

We totally gutted the back of the van today. Its been long overdue and we need to address the rust holes.

Still have to get the last shelf out-

He is the king of AC. Give him $20, the newspaper listing showing all the garage sales, and a couple hours and I bet you could freeze fish in there.
