It was too crusty and too old for me to pop more than $500 or so. Was a 1986!

So- last thursday our work truck was stolen while my buddy Adam was at Ace getting some weed whacker parts.
Took less than 5 minutes to get stolen.
They didn't take the truck too far, they just wanted the dump trailer and tools. Truck was found later that night covered in mud and dirt. Dump trailer and all tools gone.
State attorney called Adam today and all theyre giving the guy is 1 year of probation and they don't want it to stay on his permanent criminal record. UNREAL!!!! Adam told em unless he gets all his tools and trailer back he hopes the guy dies a slow death. 38 and stealing trailers n trucks and the same sentence as getting caught with a joint.

Edit- annnnnd...

After a weird couple weeks I get an angry text today from Adam accusing me of breaking his backpack blower. After 5 years of faithful service I'm out. He said he's got it from here but I've been the one running this lawn thing for him for the last 3 years. He's not going to enjoy it.

Your trailer and tools or Adam's? Either way, the trailer has a serial number. The tools might be in a pawn shop. The 1 yr should have included the return of the stuff. If not, grand larceny and whatever that CAN carry.

Dude, you gotta get out of FL. At least during the summers. That heat and humidity makes people stupid!! Assuming you did break it, is it worth a friendship?

I'm starting to hate it here.
No I didn't break it but the funny thing is the guy that now has my job broke one a couple weeks ago- so I brought my own in to use. And the guy smashed mine.
Drama in the FL summer.

Without working tools he doesn't have to work to get paid.
Laziness is rampant in todays youth. They'd rather bury their faces in their phones playing games or Facephucking with friends.
Sad state of affairs...

The heat frying brains?

I know I get grumpy when I get too hot. That's why we had to leave Florida, there was just no escaping the heat and that was in April. Trying to work on something with sweat steadily running into my eyes, end up making mistakes and it just piles up.

Cool, calm, and collected, that's me on this beautiful 75 degree day in Indiana.

Location says St. Pete; might want to update that!!

I left in '99. 5 year pit stop in SC. Too damn hot there too. Pit stop in MD for 15 yrs now. Time to move. Still too damn hot especially when working in a skoolie.

I can't be updating my location every few days but at some point I would change it to "on the road" or something. Suggestions welcome! St Pete is a great place to get heat stroke.

Found a real decent 8 ft a frame ladder. Fell out of a truck and I put it by the road for the guy so he'd see it if he came back looking. I went back 4 hours later with my truck and claimed my new-to-me ladder.
Sat at a busy intersection all afternoon!
I'd have gotten it sooner but we were in the Subaru and I couldn't find a way to make it fit.

Should have kept a hubcap, lugnut, something and buried it (after setting it on fire). Congrats.

IDK what we'll get yet. Patiently watching for a deal.
The ac was on its way out in the subaru. It was really dismal anyhow. The rear hubs were needing to be replaced too.
Only good part of owning it was selling it.
