Great bus and price but not insulated

I have a question. Think I have found a great bus, emphasis on think 😂
2001 International dt 466 with Allison trans. It is converted pretty much already and for 10 grand but isn’t insulated. Is that a deal breaker?
Thank you in advance for your expertise!

All depends on how you plan to use it. Living in it? Deal breaker. Camping in the spring and fall a few weekends? Could be ok.

It would be for me if I planned on spending considerable time in it. If you want it done correctly you will want to pull it all out and insulate it properly. Due to the rebuild needed I doubt I would be anywhere near $10K. If I was looking, that bus wouldn't get a second glance from me. Would help to know what kind of build out was done, there may be some salvageable items, but not at $10K

One thing I hear very often is "I wish I would've insulted a little more." Any time I see an "already converted" listing, I immediately question their insulation and what it would take to do it properly. I'd plan on using a conversion a good bit, so the added expense would pay off. Very little to no insulation doesn't make much sense to me unless you won't see extreme temperatures.
