Ground roof height of average school bus?

It depends primarily on the State you are traveling. Most states have a height limit of 13' 6" for OTR vehicles, length limit of 65', and width of 102"-108". Michigan enforces the 102" limit for buses, I'm not sure about other states. Some Western states allow taller loads, but most freeway bridges are at least 14' so anything taller usually requires special permitting. I hope this helps some. Have a great evening.

I believe the national standard is 13' 6" for standard interstate bridge clearance etc... Guy in the shop next to me raised their roof 20" and have had no problems with that... Keep in mind if you plan on using campgrounds, some of the more rustic places may have low hanging branches etc...
