Handicap bus flooring

Hi
New here! Need some input on the flooring of our bus. We purchased a 06 Blue Bird handicap bus with wheelchair lift.
My issue is the flooring, the tracks installed to lock in the wheelchairs with a bolt every 4 inches and four rows of them. To remove them I have to loosen the nut from under the bus while having someone in the bus.
I cannot get to everyone so with that I can't remove all the tracks.
Has anyone just laid flooring down over the original floor?
Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Yes they're a pain, but it's so rewarding to have them out and have a clean slate to work with!

We had the same situation in our bus. If you can't get a helper, get all the plywood up first. Then if you can pry up on the rail at one end you can get a cutting wheel under it to cut one bolt at a time. Don't forget to get all the washers and cut off bolts from under the bus afterwards. It really does work better with 2 people.

Thank you for your replies. We are not planning on living on the bus just using for weekend trips.
So from what I read there is no answer other than getting them out. No way to lay flooring over the strips?

You could leave them in place, but all the plywood often is more rotten than you think, and usually hides a lot of rust that needs remediation. Best to get it out.
