LOL
I ended up with a nasty case of food poisoning from some smoked turkey. Just today I'm able to keep fluids down!
Thinking next year I'll skip the turkey unless I'm deep frying one myself.

I cooked my turkey flat this year - pre-butchered it, dry-brined the pieces overnight, then cooked the breasts and wings to 155 and the leg quarters to 200 all in less than an hour. Soooo much easier and better than trying to cook the whole damn bird.

That is a good way!

I'm now fearing Xmas dinner at the in-laws. My wife got food poisoning there a few years back. The FIL likes to get drunk all day then make the food and he has like zero understanding of cross contamination.
We're going to tell a white lie and say we're still off gluten and eat a pizza on the way there.

That was me 5 days before Thanksgiving day. I was able to finally eat on that day so thankful for that! But my stomach was so tight I could only eat small portions

I had 24 hours of hell then a day or so to recover. I'm now able to eat and drink normally.
Seems a lot of folks get food poisoning around the holidays.

Blessed Thanksgiving EastCoast and Skoolie Folks. Belated anyway....I was off the grid chasing the elusive whitetail.

The way I see it every deer we collect is one less Skoolie grill/hood repair. The world isn't much safer, I skunked out. Kamikaze road goats are all alive and well so watch your 12 o'clock!!!
