Happy Thanksgiving Charlie and everybody!!
In just a few minutes I'll get into that kitchen and start my cooking for the family... something I don't see myself doing ever again because I'll be living in my skoolie in a couple months for hopefully years to come At that point I'll be a guest for future Thanksgivings which is rare because I always cook for the Holidays .
Have a great day everyone!!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! I am thankful for this amazing community of people, every day!
Just put the lid on the crockpot... having smoked ham at my daughter's, but I browned up some chicken thighs in herbs de provence, that Dog Rescuer gave me, cut up some onion, sweet potato, green apple and pear, threw in some Fresca and now it's slow cooking. Mmmmm... I love Thanksgiving. My favorite holiday of the year!

Oh, not necessarily! The past two weekends, I've cooked for 8-10 people, full meals, on my skoolie... good luck with that

Many thanks to all who make this such a great little community. If the rest of the world were as caring and sharing as this group, it would be a much better place.
Best wishes to you all. Have a wonderful Holiday!

Hope everyone enjoys today! Happy Thanksgiving!! We're on our Christmas Tree lot in Burlingame, CA. Going small and doing a whole chicken in the oven with stuffing in the crock pot. Bus smells really good right now as Erica is chopping and sautéing stuff!
Thankful for this great group of Skoolie folks around the country! May we all have full bellies!

Ate WAAAAAYYYY too much (as usual)! Good thing this only comes once a year.
But Thanksgiving may be my favorite Holiday. Unlike so many "Holidays" it is not tied to any particular religion...doesn't focus on anyone's death...and is not celebrating any war related event. Just get with some friends and/or family...and take a moment to appreciate the good things, however many, however few.
I know the real history of it is not what we were taught in school, but we can make this day mean something good by how we think about it. No matter the situation, we all have things to say thanks for.

That gives me hope because I love making my family happy with food and there's nothing wrong with everyone bringing a dish as well [emoji3]
And the tradition lives on!!
