Question HELP! Input needed on potential bus purchase

Hi! My husband and I are new to this website. We are grateful for everyone's expertise and passion for the skoolie life. We have been looking for a short bus for the past month or 2 and have found a couple of options we'd love your feedback on. Please and thanks so much!!

1. 2010 Blue bird vision, 6.7L I6 turbo, diesel, 195,000 miles, essentially rust free in and out, and clean carfax.

2. 2001 Workhorse blue bird, 6.L engine, diesel, 129,000 miles, essentially rust free in and out, and one owner

After speaking to both dealers, we have been told there are no current issues.

Thanks so much in advanced for your input/feedback!

Neither one is very good. Engines built after 2003 have unreliable and expensive to fix emissions control systems, so the 2010 isn't a great choice. And the 6.0L diesel is near the top of the "avoid" list.

If I had a choice it would be the Cummins 6.7L but these are emissions engines and not as reliable as older pre-2004 engines.

Looking for gas myself, even propane would be OK.

HI thanks for your response. The 2nd one actually has a GM 6.5L Diesel engine. I had a typo. I know 6.0 have a lot of issues. Was curious about this one: https://www.busesforsale.com/bus/903...dWorkhorse?v=2

Thanks for your input!
