hi my name is paul and i'm a bus owner,.....

Group:Hi paul

why did i buy a bus,...
one reason wheelchair,..
i now can carry my wheelchair inside a heated space, get in and out of the chair out of the rain/snow/cold/wind.
it was a long convoluted process to come to the realization a bus was my best option,..in fact the idea sounded crazy the first time it was brought up (in the middle of an argument about what to do about my failed car/what type of wheelchair minivan to get)
a google search and i was off looking at 1000's of buses
i found the smallest thing i would call a bus(not much longer than a large van
a little taller, slightly wider ) seating for 9
i have thought that i could rough camp in it (air mattress propane grill/stove
but im not gonna modify it from its primary purpose(and original purpose)
carrying wheelchair bound persons (myself , and parents and inlaws)
the only modification inside will be a transfer seat base (so i can get out of the drivers seat easier) (it pulls the drivers seat rearward a foot or more and rotates 180 degrees raises it 7 inches)
i will however be installing a tv,.. new radio,.. backup cameras,.. and a small inverter to supply power for the tv,.Christmas lights,.. chargers,.. air compressor., work light.

Hey Paul--Welcome !

How come you sound so reluctant about a bus? You started your post like an AA meeting introduction and you have a problem...

Code:
hi my name is paul and i'm a bus owner,.....
It's not so bad. Just think of it as a classy oxcart or a road-going dirigible. It's not WHERE you hang your fuzzy dice that is important, it's just so long as they are hanging in a vehicle.
